PaintLounge: Sluice Exchange Berlin 2018
PaintLounge Berlin is a gathering of painters from the UK and Germany who exhibited and shared a weekend of conversations about contemporary painting on the weekend of 16 - 18 November 2018 with a series of 'Painters in Conversation’ talks as part of Sluice Exchange Berlin hosted in the Kühlhaus Berlin. The Exchange is part of the British Council's UK/Germany season, celebrating the "cultural connections between the UK and Germany". PaintLounge Berlin and Sluice Exchange Berlin was open to the public on Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 November 2018. Everyone was invited to come along and explore interests common to painters internationally. PaintLounge Berlin was organised and curated by Wendy Saunders & Paula MacArthur and was supported by Arts Council England's Artist's International Development Fund. Email : [email protected]

PaintLounge: Sluice Exchange Berlin 2018
PaintLounge bringt Maler*innen aus Großbritannien und Deutschland zusammen, um im Rahmen einer gemeinsamen Ausstellung ein Wochenende lang in einen fruchtbaren Dialog über zeitgenössische Malerei zu treten. Dieses Jahr bringt PaintLounge rund 30 Künstlerinnen und Künstler im Kühlhaus Berlin zusammen, wo der British Council UK/Germany die Ausstellung "Sluice Exchange Berlin Expo“ hosten wird. Ziel ist es, den kulturellen Austausch zwischen Maler*innen aus UK und Deutschland nachhaltig zu pflegen. PaintLounge ist eine von den Künstler/Kuratorinnen Paula MacArthur und Wendy Saunders organisierte Initiative und wird vom Arts Council England mit dem Artists’ International Development Fund unterstützt. 17. bis 18.
